Ever since I began this artistic venture I have been pouring my heart and soul into my paintings. They mean a lot to me and each take on their own personalities. Because of this, and slightly as a joke at first, I had my little sister give a name for each paintings. Once completed I struggled to give each piece a more "artistic" sounding name. Then I realized, these paintings are so full of character and emotion that they deserve the human-esque names my sister jokingly gave them. My mother also said it was a nice sales gimmick.
Besides the connection to myself and my family, using proper names also leaves an air of anonymity to each piece. The name becomes as abstract as the work itself and leaves no hint of intended interpretation.
So that is the reason behind the names of my paintings. I hope you enjoy their company as much as I have.
